Senior cricketers not retiring, says Indian team managementFeb 08, 2012
The Indian cricket team management today denied reports claiming retirement of its senior players following a 0-4 Test series whitewash in Australia. "The team management categorically denies this. Reports about senior players retiring are baseless," team manager GS Walia told reporters. He termed baseless the reports on Rahul Dravid telling some of his teammates about his immediate retirement. Stand-in captain Virender Sehwag said the seniors themselves will take a call on hanging up their boots and they have not expressed anything so far on the matter. "Some reports have said that senior players will retire after this series. No such thing has happened yet. This is a decision that they will take.
